The Good House Fundata Cottage

In the place where the sky embraces the forest, on a fairy-tale plateau at 1150 meters altitude, at the end of the road from the village of Fundățica, is Casa Bună, a wonderful traditional house with an age of over 100 years, which has lovingly hosted so far, at least three generations and we are sure there will be more to come.

With respect for the past and confidence for the future, everything possible was preserved, and in 2019, we renovated the parental home, a witness of the passage of time.

The accommodation unit consists of a large living room with a fireplace, a fully equipped open-space kitchen and two very spacious rooms with a double matrimonial bed and private bathroom. At the same time, the house also has a generous yard, a swing, a gazebo, private parking and a barbeque area equipped with a grill, a disc kettle and a towel.

Like any location built with soul and respect for what surrounds us, the cottage is not recommended for parties or other noisy events.

It should be noted that within the property there is also a guest house that belongs to us, the outside space being a common one for all our guests. The Good House can only be rented in its entirety, for a stay of at least 2 nights.

As ways of leisure in Fundătica, in the summer you can take trips on marked ecotourism trails in the area (optionally guided), horse riding, mountain bike trails, climbing, adventure park, pendulum, zipline and archery, the latter taking place in your own our adventure park.

In winter you can go sledding, skiing and snowboarding on the own slope next to the cottage or you can enjoy horse-drawn sleigh rides.
